Scott Wayman Scott Wayman grew up in Oklahoma and has a bachelors degree from Northwestern Oklahoma State University in criminal justice. He started working for the City Of live oak as a police officer in 1987 and in 1999 received a Masters of public administration from the university of Texas at San Antonio. He became the assistant city manager of Live oak in 2002 and became City Manager in 2012. He served for just short of 10 years as City Manager where he oversaw everything from economic development to planning and zoning to development services to code enforcement and all the functions of a super cool little city. In January of this year Scott retired from being a city manager and has recently taken the job of executive Director of the bulverde Spring Branch Economic Development Foundation. He has been a member of the American planners association the Texas City managers association the international city managers association as well as the international council of shopping centers. He has a daughter who is also following him in the profession and is currently the city administrator for the city of Rollingwood Texas and the Austin region. Read Less
