The Mission of the Texas Chapter of the American Planning

Notice of Amendments to
APA Texas Bylaws
The
Board of Directors of the Texas Chapter of the American
Planning Association is considering amending the
Chapter Bylaws. If you would like to submit comments,

APA National Elections Currently Underway
Ann Bagley, AICP has been slated by the APA
Nominating Committee to appear on the ballot for the 2010
APA/AICP Board of Directors Election. The APA Texas
Executive Committee has voted to endorse Ms. Bagley in her
candidacy for APA Board Director at Large. For more

2010 APA National
Conference in New Orleans
In 2009, planners began a journey in Minneapolis at the
headwaters of the Mississippi, where APA celebrated the
centennial of the planning movement at the National Planning
Conference. In 2010, APA travels downriver to New Orleans
where the conference will focus on the region's recovery
from the 2005 hurricanes and its continuing vulnerability.
