Overview

Corpus Christi is home to the Port of Corpus Christi – an economic engine for the Coastal Bend area that  generates 98,000 port-related jobs and $6 billion per year for Corpus Christi. This bustling hub of activity is  the largest port in the nation by revenue tonnage, top exporter of US produced crude oil, and the second  largest exporter of liquified natural gas. With the deepest ship channel on the US Gulf Coast and state-of-the-art marine terminals, the Port is a vital link in the global supply chain. The Port is committed to  decarbonization, both as a burgeoning hub for production of clean (low carbon) hydrogen, and as an  epicenter for active carbon management by way of carbon capture. Interested in seeing a behind-the-scenes perspective on energy transition in action – this is the workshop for you!
