Overview

The City of Port Aransas recently updated its Parks and Open Space Master Plan to plan for maintenance and development of its park system for the next 10 years. This tour will take attendees through the different park locations in Port Aransas including Robert’s Point Park, the Nature Preserve at Charlie’s Pasture, and the University of Texas Marine Science Institute campus to highlight improvements since Hurricane Harvey as well as future planned enhancements for the region. Speakers will also highlight how the city is incorporating low-impact development and nature-based solutions into its park system.
