Gain knowledge about the new state and regional flood planning process administered by the Texas Water Development Board, including the formation of 15 regional flood planning groups to develop their respective regional flood plans through this bottom-up approach.
This presentation will provide an overview of the expanded role of the TWDB in flood planning, the new state and regional flood planning process, and the timeline for the development of regional and state flood plans including milestones and accomplishments to date.

Megan Ingram is a Senior Regional Flood Planner at the Texas Water Development Board, where she is part of the team developing and implementing Texas’ first regional and state flood planning program. She has almost ten years of private and public sector experience in environmental and energy public policy, disaster recovery, and flood planning. Megan received her B.S. in Environmental Studies from Texas A&M University. Outside of the office, Megan loves to read, make a mess in the kitchen, and spend time with her husband and two-year-old son.
