Joe Pobiner has been a consulting planner and urban designer for over 40 years. Based in North Texas, he has been a Practice Leader for such influential firms as HKS, Gensler, and Perkins Eastman, working on projects across Texas, the US, and in over 30 countries internationally.
His projects cross multiple markets including City & Regional Planning, Sports & Entertainment, Hospitality, Healthcare, Corporate & University Campuses, and many others. Previous projects include the master plan for the Superconducting Super Collider, three NFL stadiums, and new cities in the Middle East and China. These projects have received awards from APA, ASLA, AIA, and ULI.
Joe has served as a Guest Lecturer and Advisory Board Member at Texas A&M University and Ohio State University. He is a member of the AICP College of Fellows and was named a Distinguished Alumnus of Ohio State.
