Overview

A deep dive into the preservation planner's perspective of a zoning code rewrite project. The presentation will explain how public history, physical historic resources, and the community's apprehension became the project's focus with, surprisingly, better protections. This session will first walk through the case study to examine the project methodologies, then attendees will work together to build code using sample archive materials and newly learned methods.
