Overview

El Paso has undergone steady growth for decades. This growth is taking place within the City of El Paso, several smaller municipalities in El Paso County, and increasingly, within unincorporated areas of the County. Growth impacts many aspects of governance, facilities, services, and fiscal balance.

To ensure long-term high-quality provision of cost-effective services and facilities, the County conducted an analysis of growth trends and developed recommendations that seek to protect and enhance quality of life throughout the County.

This session will present findings from the El Paso growth management report and explore challenges, opportunities, and tools for managing growth in Texas counties.
