The American Planning Association consolidated elections process, which includes officer elections for the APA-Texas Chapter and the nine regional Texas sections, will begin on March 1, 2019. Getting involved with APA is a great way to work with other planners from across the state, give back to the profession, and develop your leadership skills and professional network. The Texas Chapter is always looking for enthusiastic volunteers to help implement its statewide and local programs.

Hosted by APA-Texas Chapter President Doug McDonald, AICP and Chapter President-Elect Chance Sparks, AICP, this webinar will cover the 2019 APA election process and timeline, position descriptions for the Texas Chapter and Section officer positions, and other important election information. If you are interested in running for a state or section position or want to learn more about the Chapter's leadership structure and how to get involved, please join us!
