Lattes and Leadership is a free opportunity to meet Austin's best and brightest planners in a casual setting. Don't expect a pre-set agenda, presentation or speech; at a Lattes and Leadership, you will be part of a round table discussion in a relaxed environment.
Rebecca Leonard is Principal, Shareholder and President of Design Workshop. She has planned and designed award-winning projects, lectured, written, and served as an advisor to numerous clients, community groups and professional peers. The scope of her interests is broad—from site design to the planning of vast regions—with a particular emphasis on community-based projects and public-private partnerships. Rebecca opened the Texas offices of Design Workshop and mentors numerous emerging leaders within the firm and in the profession at large. Rebecca also serves as Chair of the American Planning Association’s Urban Design and Preservation Division.

The Texas Emerging Planning Leaders (TxEPL) Committee was created by the APA Texas Chapter in 2014 to prepare future planning leaders by interacting with and learning from more experienced planners.
