Fracking in North Texas

Fracking in North Texas

Joint North Central/Midwest Sections Professional Development Seminar

Is fracking coming to your community? America's need for natural gas is fueling a heated debate in cities and towns nationwide, including several cities in North Texas. Is hydraulic fracturing worth the environmental cost? What are the land use implications and what planning tools are available to assure public safety? Drill down into the issues with Denton’s Gas Well Administrator Darren Groth, AICP, Flower Mound’s Environmental Review Analyst Brandon Bammel, and Arlington’s Gas Well Coordinator Collin Gregory and learn how these North Texas cities are mitigating the impacts of fracking.
