The APA Texas Chapter-Midwest Section invites to you to our quarterly professional development and networking luncheon at the Colleyville Public Library. 

TOPIC: ETHICS FOR PLANNERS

Planners in the public and private sector are faced with ethical challenges every day. Planners have a need to learn how to resolve and avoid ethical problems. Connie Cooper, FAICP and Ann Bagley, FAICP will use their years of experience in municipal planning and private consulting to instruct planners on state conflict of interest and disclosure statutes, and related laws and the AICP Code of Ethics and Professional Conduct. The presentation will also discuss problem solving techniques to address complex ethical challenges associated with issues faced by planners in both the private and public sectors.

**1.5 CM ethics credits have been approved for this luncheon**

TIME: 12:00 p.m. – 1:30 p.m.  (Registration begins at 11:30 a.m.)

COST: $10 APA Members or $15 Non-APA Members for lunch. Please bring cash or check to event for payment. Please make checks payable to Midwest Section TX Chapter of APA. There is no charge if you bring your own lunch.

Cooper, FAICP, is President of Cooper Consulting.  She has over 35 years of experience in municipal planning and private consulting and is a Past President of APA.  Ms. Cooper has authored several PAS reports and articles on planning related topics including effects on impact fees and SOBs.  Ms. Cooper holds a B.S. in Political Science from Mississippi State and a Masters in Urban Planning from the University of Mississippi.
