city located in the Texas Hill Country and is seeking a dynamic, economic
development professional to lead the Economic Growth and Redevelopment Services
Office. The Director is appointed by the Austin City Manager. Director will
lead a department of 44 talented professionals assigned to three primary
functions: Economic Development and Redevelopment, Cultural Arts Programs, and
Small Business Development. The Director will work with the economic
development community including the Greater Austin Chamber of Commerce in
attracting business to Austin. A bachelor’s degree is required; a master’s
