APA members who are considering undergoing the certification exam for the American Institute of Certified Planners (AICP) will want to participate in the AICP Exam Preparation Workshop that will be held on the first day of the APA Texas Chapter Conference. The workshop is intended to aid examinees in their studies. Attendees will receive an overview of what to expect from the AICP Exam, including helpful tips on how to study and test taking strategies. Major topic areas of the exam will be covered providing helpful examples of material that one could expect to see appear on the exam.

The Workshop will be held on Wednesday, October 7th (12:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m).
Workshop ticket may be reserved online or purchased on-site at the conference registration in the Conference Center.

Attendance at the AICP Exam Workshop does not require full conference registration.

Learn from the nation’s leading AICP Exam Preparation Instructor, Jennifer Evans-Cowley, PhD, AICP. A native Texan, Jennifer is Section Head and Assistant Professor of the Department of City and Regional Planning, Austin E. Knowlton School of Architecture, at The Ohio State University. Originally from Austin, she received her BS, MURP and PhD degrees from Texas A&M University, and has her Master’s in Public Administration from the University of North Texas. Jennifer is also an instructor for AICP Exam Preparation Course offered on the Planetizen website.
